Frequently Asked Questions

Will I need to stay at all workshops?
Parents can drop off their GP Girl or relax in our Parent’s Corner for the workshops to end. We are requiring all parents to attend our GP workshop “They Don’t Get It!” and we would also like volunteers at either our GP Fashion Show or Concert.

What does the Registration contribution cover?
Each registration contribution supplies your GP Girl with a GP t-shirt, snacks, and workshop materials for each session.

What is the age range of a GP Girl?
Our workshops are tailored for girls between thirteen and seventeen. Our “He Loves Me!” workshop has a segment geared towards women over eighteen.

Parent Information Center

Thank you for allowing your teen to be a part of Girls Plan. Our goal is to change their thinking, allow them to foster positive attitudes and to equip them to navigate through society’s norms. Your help in getting your teen to the workshops is appreciated. We are in this together!

The following is important information we would like to share with you prior to attending our workshops. We also require a signed copy of our "Responsibility Agreement" and "Photo Disclaimer" prior to entry. Click HERE to download.

Some things to note:

We do things decently and in order. All workshops will start on time! Please get your teen to the venue a few minutes before the workshop starts so she does not feel rushed or anxious at being late.
If you decide to drop your teen off and come back, please return on time to pick up your teen. There are other events planned after Girls Plan and we will not be available to take care of your teen after our workshops have ended.
